The Wine and Sand from Blue Cellars

Close to the old royal town of Znojmo you can find the village Nový Šaldorf - Sedlešovice with a complex of wine cellars called Blue Cellars. It is different compared to the other wine cellar complexes due to the technology of their building. They were dug in sand stone.

Free Republic of Kravi Hora Wine Makers

The funny events connected with activities of the "Free Federal Republic of Kraví hora" made the small village in Hustopeče Region really popular. In no other place in Moravia you will encounter – in connection with wine – the passport obligations when crossing the wine district borders, necessary stamps, not speaking about the constitution and its national anthem.

Brno, the Wine Town

Brno is the entry gate to the traditional wine region of Moravia. As proved by many historical sources, the importance of wine making and wine growing was significant for the Brno town as early as in the 13th century.
